Believe it or not Kid A's artistic pseudonym apparently didn't initially come from the title of Radiohead's masterpiece. Growing up on her grandad’s old jazz records Ann Alexander Thweatt would rather listen to Ella Fitzgerald or Serge Gainsbourg although she did eventually turn to electro music before dabbling in technology to create beats and loops. "BB Bleu", co-produced by Agoria, is a lavish excursion into moody electronic soundscapes with a soulful twist. The song is practically unclassifiable as a whole and manages to escape any comparisons as it simply doesn't sound quite like anything I heard in 2013 so far.
