CHOON OF THE DAY: "SAME" - Cyril Hahn feat. Yumi Zouma

Cyril Hahn unveiled his luscious collaborative single with Yumi Zouma, our most beloved musical export from New Zealand, earlier on today. UK's booming new R'N'B and UK Funky scene has offered us a lot of thrills the past few months. Following the spectacular stream of excellent singles by Jessie Ware, T. Williams, Disclosure, Julio Bashmore and others we are being bombarded with two more fabulous tracks this week coming from the blossoming PMR Records. Swiss Dj Cyril Hahn was on everyone's lips a while ago for his superb remix of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" which gave the R'N'B classic a completely fresh twist. Now he's back with "Perfect Form" a heavenly melodic and lavishly layered piece dripping with soulful vibes. The second tune comes from Dornik, a guy some of you Jessie Ware devotees out there may know from her live gigs where he sometimes would step into Sampha's shoes to perform their cult duet "Valentine". "Something About You" was love at first listen last week. Just a divine mélange of oldschool and neo soul, easily among the hottest songs out there. Counting down the days for both releases to drop.

Jessie Ware just released a very cute video for the groovy "Sweet Talk" from her eponymous debut album "Devotion". The song also receives an absolutely scrumptious house remix treatment courtesy of Cyril Hahn. This lady enjoyed the most spectacular run of dance mixes submitted for all of her 6 singles  taken from this epic record so far, Hahn's version stands out among the best ones yet!
