CHOON OF THE DAY: "LIES" - CHVRCHES [Video + Live]

There hasn't been such a strong synth-pop track around lately. Praised for a long time by one of my muso friends (thanks Maciek!) I am finally convinced, converted and ready to claim "Lies" by CHVRCHES to be one of the most powerful POP melodies in 2013. The video is equally haunting! Oh yeah and how cute is Lauren Mayberry?!

MSMR are bringing back all the sentimental VHS memories in the kaleidoscopically hallucinogenic video for "Think Of You", the duo's 3rd single taken from their debut album "Secondhand Rapture". Oldschool style videos are so in right now. A flawless pop tune too.

MSMR, the duo behind the mesmerising "Hurricane" last year, has just released a brand new video for "Fantasy" an enthralling song heralding their debut album "Second Hand Rapture" out May 14th. I have this gut feeling MSMR will be as big as Lana Del Rey by the end of 2013.
