SHREM'S GUILTIEST OF PLEASURES... VOL. 31: "I LOVE YOU" - 2NE1

I've got such a soft spot for K-Pop... I know this song has a slightly euro-trashy production and the most cliché title possible, I still can't get it out of my head and stop humming it over and over again. Korean Pop has recently been my personal antidote to the American Pop scene which I couldn't be less interested in these days... Almost 7 million views in just about two weeks!

SHREM'S WORLDLY DELIGHTS: Perfume [Japan] + miss A 미쓰에이 [South Korea] + Elva Hsiao 萧亚轩 [Taiwan]

I have just realised it's been a long while since I shared some Far East Asian Pop which I have such a soft spot for. Well to catch up here are none less than three songs coming from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan respectively. Especially for those of you who love ludicrously over the top high budget videos, even if slightly trashy but undeniably catchy melodies and pure pop perfection Asian style.

SHREM'S LATE MONDAY NIGHT SESSIONS... "I am the Best 내가 제일 잘나가" - 2NE1 투애니원

It's no news I have a bit of a soft spot for K-Pop. In particular Korean girl bands. 2NE1 have just stolen my heart (my ears, my eyes and my feet too!!!) for the second time since their massive "Can't Nobody". Here's CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom with their brand new single accompanied by this ridiculously OTT video. Danke schön Vanessa for the tip!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "뻑이가요 (KNOCK OUT)" - GD & TOP

The styling in this video is just phenomenal. Music-wise it's a weirdly catchy Korean take on a bit of old school Missy Elliott... It's the high budget ultra-flamboyant video (the fashion!!!) vs the hypnotic and quite minimal production of the actual track. It's on a constant loop on my i-choons this week. South Koreans are so hot right now! P.S. In this particular case literally hot ;-)

SHREM'S WORLDLY DELIGHTS: "ABRACADABRA" - Brown Eyed Girls

I'm getting seriously addicted to the Korean girl bands... I can't help myself, South Korea releases the catchiest pop singles of the past year or so... First Girl's Generation, then 2NE1 and now Brown Eyed Girls - über-catchy!

SHREM'S WORLDLY DELIGHTS: "Can't nobody" - 2NE1 トゥエニー・ワン - キャント・ノーバディ

Some of this planet's finest pop music and shamelessly catchiest sounds are being made in South Korea. I went bananas when I saw this first - lavish, tacky and sensational. This is sooooo me :-)
