I am seriously addicted to this ace Turkish Hip-Hop track since yesterday. Produced by Burak Urgay better known as Brok, "Yalnızlık Son Ses" by Izmir based Grogi is an urban delight filled with oldskool motives, funky samples and a lot of fresh flavour! In addition Turkish, I've always had a linguistic crush on, couldn't sound any more melodic, a challenging test to any language in the aesthetics of rap. CHOON!

Possibly the most harmonious and most melodic of them all... This song has been following me for the past few weeks. When a remix out-does the original. Hooking tune which I discovered thanks to one of my favourite djs out there: Izmir based Murat Gayretli from Porneon.

Jumping into time machine and stopping by in Istanbul circa 1978 at some underground disco nightclub. Barış K's "Istanbul 70" triptych is full of disco obscurities made in Turkey just like this wonderful track below. As a bonus I just couldn't resist and re-post his amazing edit of Kamuran Akkor's killer groove "Ikimiz Bir Fidanız". These releases combine my passion for disco as well as Oriental sounds.
