SHREM'S WORLDLY DELIGHTS: "Dalkavuk" - Şenay + "Ikimiz Bir Fidanız" Kamuran Akkor & Ümit Aksu Orkestrası [Barış K Edits]

Jumping into time machine and stopping by in Istanbul circa 1978 at some underground disco nightclub. Barış K's "Istanbul 70" triptych is full of disco obscurities made in Turkey just like this wonderful track below. As a bonus I just couldn't resist and re-post his amazing edit of Kamuran Akkor's killer groove "Ikimiz Bir Fidanız". These releases combine my passion for disco as well as Oriental sounds.

02 (1) - "Over" - Gus Gus - two months in a row at the top spot, my favourite Icelanders had to pass the crown to my favourite Canadians this month... The video was just released and it's a beauty! 01 (3) - "Manic" - Azari & III - it's the most hypnotic, the most haunting and the sexiest dance record of the year so far... And don't even get me started on the video - fantabulousness!
