Martina Topley Bird's moody vocals graced many magical electronica moments for various artists since the 1990's. Her latest collaboration with Warp protégé Clark is something of a musical time machine. Its eerie melody, exuberantly twisted production and enigmatic samples bring me right back to the ever so exciting trip-hop days... The track comes from his upcoming April release "Iradelphic". What a smashing moment to remind ourselves of the opening track from Tricky's monumental "Maxinquaye" featuring lovely Martina too.
