It was in 1998 when I heard of Four Tet for the very first time. His breakthrough track "Field" made it onto numerous compilations, among them "Amulet and Atlas" in Poland which was added as a free bonus CD to one of the first editions of the local magazine "Machina". This eerily hypnotic opus remains the one I still treasure the most among all Four Tet's productions. His brand new collaboration however, the one with Burial called "Nova" tops the brilliance of "Field" after a mere 14 years in my nerdy muso books. They really seem the dream team of electronica after their eponymous 9 minutes long "Moth" in 2009 and "Ego/Mirror" last year - a superb single with Thom Yorke. Top shelf electronica.
