I've got two delectable disco tracks for you today. Just cause I'm in a splendid discolicious mood enjoying my holidays in Brussels. It's hard to belive there's 34 years between them! Stacy-Come-On-And-Jump-To-The-Beat-Lattisaw's funky piece "Dynamite!" was out in 1980 while Paris prime disco re-inventor Arnaud Bernard better known as Onra dropped his latest offering, the groovy "Gonna Make You Mine" as part of "Colette French Kiss" compilation just a couple of weeks ago. Play that funky music baby!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "FLAME" - Ronya + Femme En Fourrure Remix

Ronya comes Helsinki and fits perfectly into the recent craze around all the ethereal synth-pop serving Scandinavian sirens the likes of Jonna Lee from Iamamiwhoami, Lykke Li, MØ, Kill J or Planningtorock. Her latest single "Flame" is out now via Cocoa Music. The song's instantly appealing catchiness is slightly disturbed by the real hero of this release which is a deliciously hypnotic remix provided by Ronya's compatriots, our favourite Finnish noir electronica specialists from Femme En Fourrure. Between all the distorted vocals, tribal beats, echoey sounds and almost medieval elements towards the end it's like a fascinating sonic journey from early Dead Can Dance stuff from the 80's to Fever Ray's unparalleled debut album. All in 5 minutes of one of the greatest remixes released in 2014 so far...

CHOON OF THE DAY: "DWN4U / JEEPS" - BC Kingdom

No one does R'N'B quite as futuristically as Logan and Zou from the flamboyant urban duo BC Kingdom. Following the sensational "Lock Up" released on Solange's label Saint Records last year, an attractive mélange of neo soul and electronica that ended up among Top 20 best tunes of 2013, we receive another electrifying contemporary R&B symphony "DWN4U / JEEPS". As the title and the song's ever-changing moods and unpredictable rhythms suggest, it's almost as if there actually were two tracks married together. The future looks bright for these talented and unique artists.

Do you remember Annie's "Russian Kiss" electro protest song released in order to show support to the oppressed LGBT community in Russia in a globally vital moment of the international exposure of the Sochi games? Well the political dance continues with these two fantastic remixes of the track coming from Johan Agebjörn, one half of our favourite Swedish duo Sally Shapiro and Annie's compatriot Skatebård. Agebjörn's Italo rendition of the song I would dare to say is even better than the Richard X produced original version featuring Norwegian artist Bjarne Melgaard. SHREM'S FUTURE ANTHEMS: "IF IT WASN'T TRUE" - Shamir

My fellow blogging muso friends Piotrek from No Snobs Allowed and Grześ from Sauna & Flora have been raving about this track for the past few days when I was in some sort of non-posting hiatus and never even had a chance to listen to it. Until now. Shamir Bailey's debut single literally swept me off my feet. This 19 year-old kid from Las Vegas just dropped one of the most delicious house tunes I heard in months. Simply sensational!!!
