SHREM'S FUTURE ANTHEMS: "HUMAN AGAIN" - Carl Louis feat. Ary

Do you remember Ary's "Higher" - the impossibly adorable Norwegian synth-pop moment I completely fell in love with back in July this year? Now the very same songstress joins the electro pop forces with electronic producer and compatriot Carl Louis for his debut EP "Telescope". Even though it's the title track that's been chosen to promote this release, it's their second collaboration "Human Again" which steals the spotlight and could be a late contender for one of the best synth-pop tracks of the year. The dazzling song reminisces Röyksopp's distinctive sound and could as well be some rare lost classic of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland considering their passion for female vocals, haunting melodies and dreamy, embellished "synth-scapes". Must be a Norwegian thing. "Telescope EP" is out now via Warner Music Norway.

Here's "Telescope" - Carl Louis and Ary's other joint effort:

CHOON OF THE DAY: "WE CAN HOLD ON" - Du Tonc

Matt Van Schie and Mighty Mouse aka Du Tonc are treating us to a slice of sonic sunshine with their irresistible, full blast Balearic synth anthem "We Can Hold On". The uplifting track is the band's third release on Eskimo following "Every Song" and "Animals" earlier this year and announces the release of Du Tonc's debut album.

And for those keen on 90's R&B covers, a reminder of Du Tonc's summery rework of Aaliyah's "Rock The Boat":
