SHREM'S FUTURE ANTHEMS: "SAY SOMETHING" - Karen Harding + Bodhi & Wookie Remixes

Major hit alert! Karen Harding's "Say Something" sounds like a third anthem in this year's mainstream friendly diva house triptych next to Kiesza's ubiquitous "Hideaway" and Moko's infectiously catchy "Your Love". The track is out on 09.11.2014.

CHOON OF THE DAY: "IF YOU SAY SO" - Escort

New York disco troopers, the mighty Escort fronted by the charismatic Adeline Michèle are back with another delightful gem "If You Say So", their first new material since their self-titled debut album back in 2011. Collaborating with MNDR they delivered a sublime, elegantly produced song with that irresistible, genuine retro flavour, a signature element to all Escort's singles so far. I am craving even more of that discoliciousness now. Here's to album #2 soon!

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "TELL YOU (TODAY)" - Robyn /// "MONUMENT (The Inevitable End Version)" - Röyksopp feat. Robyn

The latest in "Red Hot" series of compilations dedicated to fighting AIDS through pop culture is on its way. "Red Hot + Arthur Russell" will see an eclectic array of international artists paying tribute to the ultimate hero of underground disco. Alongside Hot Chip, Blood Orange and Devendra Banhart there's our favourite Swede - Robyn and her super-fun version of Loose Joints' "Tell You (Today)".

The unstoppable "Stars 4-Ever" singer is in the middle of an extremely busy year. On top of "Do It Again" the collaborative EP and tour with the Norwegian wizards from Röyksopp, Robyn managed to feature on Neneh Cherry's "Blank Project" and will now also guest appear on a song called "Who Do You Love?" on Kindness' new record "Otherness" which is out 10th October. Aaaaand apart from all that Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland announced the release of their final full length LP "The Inevitable End" which will include a brand new version of their epic "Monument" along with another new joint effort with Robyn "Rong". Here are both of these new treats for all us Robyn fans.

SHREM'S CLUB BIZARRE INTRODUCING: "I'M IN LOVE" - Zhala

Robyn's protégée Zhala has just released her infectiously haunting single "I'm In Love". Zhala's haunting and evocative melodies are packed with a serious punch, full of thought-provoking lyrics and undeniable hooks. Using Stockholm as her base, but with the mindset of a modern day transnational, Zhala’s music is futuristic, labeled by the artist herself as "cosmic pop". The song is accompanied by one of this year's most hypnotising music videos directed by Roxy Farhat, a Malmö based artist responsible for The Knife's "A Tooth For An Eye" video last year. Unique, bold and eerily captivating.

SHREM'S BIGGIES BUT GOODIES BASKET: "Complètement fou" - Yelle

I won't lie. I didn't love Yelle's "Complètement fou" at first listen but now with this hyper-energetic, flamboyant, vogueing extravaganza of a video I am completely sold. The video was directed by MILORD AND L'ÉTIQUETTE and the album comes out 30th September. Complètement formidable!

SHREM'S LATE MONDAY NIGHT SESSIONS: "HERE I AM" - The Juan Maclean

DFA just dropped The Juan Maclean's 3rd studio album "In A Dream". Having completed the first listening to the album "Here I Am" stood out the most. Its warm, housey vibe is instantly appealing and Nancy Whang scored another classic dancefloor moment on her account with her effortlessly cool vocals. On repeat!

Gomma will be releasing Nancy Whang's collaborative EP "The Nancy Whang Casablanca Reworks" with disco covers featuring Drop Out Orchestra, Etienne de Crécy and Audiojack among others. The previews are sounding delightful!
