SHREM'S FUTURE ANTHEMS: "COMME UN ENFANT" - Yelle

Yelle continue to impress with their pop electro pure gems. "Comme un Enfant" is without a doubt one of this year's (if not THE one) most stylish videos! Italians may do it better but French do it best! Someone said on Vimeo "It's like Around the World inside a vagina"! One couldn't describe it in any more accurate way ;-)
P.S. When you're done watching the video at least 5 times in a row (I know that's what I did...) check out the remixes and a live version of the song HERE!

CHOONS OF THE DAY: "CHANGES COME" + "DEEP INSIDE" - Gus Gus

Two tracks from "Arabian Horse" - best album in 2011 in my humble opinion, get video treatments. First one is a fan made, the other is the official video accompanying the release of Gus Gus' brand new single "Deep Inside". Pure magic!

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "SHAKE DE AMOR" - Banda UÓ /// "FUNK DO IPHONE" - João Brasil feat. Marina Gasolina

Two hilariously kitschy pieces of Brazilian electro nodding to M.I.A. and Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair". Banda UÓ - an insane combination of Army of Lovers, SSION and Sinitta + banana l.o.v.ing João Brasil and his brand new single with Bonde do Role's Marina Gasolina. Crazy overdose? Never!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "DREAM ON" - Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

Pure synth pop heaven! Loving the beats on this one. Haunting, haunting, haunting!

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "HORRORS OF LOVE" - Ryskee feat. Jenny Wilson /// "YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY" - The Knife feat. Jenny Wilson

Two excellent guest appearances by Miss Jenny Wilson. One old, one new-ish. Both excellent!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "NUCLEAR SEASON" - Charli XCX

Charli XCX are generously giving away their new pure-synth-heaven single for free! Don't miss out! I must admit I wasn't blown away by her previous effort "Stay Away", this track however along with its superb video stole my heart almost instantly. Have a look...

SHREM'S CLUB BIZARRE INTRODUCING: "F Mi En Di E Jo" - Sister Act

This is where euro trash meets 1990's house meets disco punk meets early Madonna. Effortlessly one of the coolest singles in 2011. I wonder is this going to be a one-off single by this flamboyant trio consisting of Cody-SSION-Critcheloe, Peggy Noland and Jaime Warren.

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "CRYSTALLINE" /// "SO BROKEN" [live @ Later with Jools Holland] - Björk

I simply adore every single one of Björk's performances @ Later with Jools Holland, but yesterday's "Crystalline" brought it another completely new level of admiration for her. P H E N O M E N A L!

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "K.I.S.S.E.S." - Bent /// "Küsse süßer als Wein" - Nana Mouskouri (Nάνα Μούσχουρη)

These two tracks just naturally sound delicious when played back to back. The art of sampling at its most refined from English magicians of chilled out grooves. And the incomparable Miss Nάνα Μούσχουρη...

CHOONS OF THE DAY: "MIRAGE" + "MELTING ICE" - Ladytron

I still can't make up my mind which is my favourite track on Ladytron's 5th studio album " Gravity the Seducer" but I'm definitely between "Mirage" and "Melting Ice". Here are both of them, pure sonic beauties.

SHREM'S LATE MONDAY NIGHT SESSIONS... "SHOPPING CART" - Parallel Dance Ensemble

Parallel Dance Ensemble are the disco-not-disco duo: Coco Solid from New Zealand and Bobbi Soxx from Denmark. Groove is in their hearts now!

SHREM'S INSTITUTE OF LOST CLASSICS: "SILENT SPRING" - Massive Attack feat. Elizabeth Fraser

The indescribable beauty of Elizabeth Fraser's angelic voice vs Massive Attack's moody beats and lamenting strings (that cello solo is to die for!). This song never made it for the final version of "Mezzanine" and remains one of their most magical of all tracks. Rare, subtle and exquisite.

CHOON OF THE DAY: "LOOKING AT YOU" + Horizontal Disco EP - Zimmer

Discotexas the house of nu-disco responsible for the latest releases by Justin Faust, KAMP!, Lazydisco and more graced us with another summer jam this autumn. Lush balearic vibes, Paris by night and modern disco grooves all in one video!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "O LESIE" - Nosowska

Nosowska's new single is out! Perhaps it wouldn't be my choice for the second single taken from "8" but the video indeed is stunning. How gorgeous are the Polish forests?

SHREM'S INSTITUTE OF LOST CLASSICS: "WOULD WOULD YOU LIKE TO DISCO?" - Hess is More

This was one of the very first digital singles I have ever purchased transferring slowly from the physical formats (I still collect cd's, vinyls and even cassettes though!) to the "Modern era". Easily one of the coolest records to ever come out from Denmark. Mikkel Hess aka Hess is More and his cacophonic disco. His brand new album is out now and includes one track with our beloved Nomi Ruiz herself. Now would, would you like to Disco?

CHOON OF THE DAY: "LITTLE MAN" - Little Dragon Live + Remixes

Getting ready for Little Dragon's gig in less than 2 weeks now. Thrilled they decided to release my favourite song from their latest album as the next single. The mixes are delicious too.

SHREM'S FUTURE ANTHEMS: "SHAKE" - Little Boots

Who would have thought... I've never been particularly fond of Little Boots until now. Feels like teaming up with Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford (responsible for Beth Ditto's single of the year "I Wrote The Book") on "Shake" was the brightest idea under the music sun. The beat, the production and the melody of this single are pure perfection. Think we have yet another anthem this year... I like to be surprised sometimes...

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "CITY GRRRL" - CSS feat. SSION /// "LISTEN TO THE GRRRLS" - SSION

Before we get to see SSION's three (!!!) new videos we can admire Mr Cody Critcheloe in CSS' brand new clip with "Desperately Seeking Susan" reminiscences. Let's hope one of the promised new videos from SSION will be made to "Listen to the grrrls" which is one of the stand-out tracks on their euphoric new LP "Bent".

Escort's long anticipated debut album is out now! It's packed with disco strings, funkalicious beats, phenomenally catchy choruses and pure fun! For those of you who might have previously missed out on their brilliant singles, they're all included here! Thanks to those pure gold modern disco anthems this winter will feel all summery! Enoy...

SHREM'S DOUBLE TROUBLE: "PARIS" (with Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson) /// "TAKE ME THERE" (with Jimmy Sommerville) - Scratch Massive

Scratch Massive invited two very special guests to collaborate on those two tracks included on their brand new album "Nuit De Rêve". First up Mr Daníel-Gus Gus-Ágúst and then solely missed on the current music scene, the best falsetto in pop music - Jimmy Sommerville.

CHOON OF THE DAY: "Warm in the Winter" - Glass Candy

Alberto Rossini sharing his visually stunning imagery with the quirky sounds from Italians Do It Better is a match made in nu-disco heaven. Check out his latest achievement for Glass Candy's latest single "Warm in the Winter". I absolutely can't wait for their new album to come out!W/O/N/D/E/R/F/U/L/!

CHOON OF THE DAY: "Thunderbolt [live]" - Björk

How powerful is this performance??? One of "Biophilia"'s strongest moments! One word: goosebumps...
